Camden GOP Chairman Rick DeMichele Endorses Rep. LoBiondo

This weekend, while Frank kicked off his 2010 campaign, Camden County GOP Chairman Rick DeMichele became the first party leader to endorse the Congressman’s reelection bid noting that “while Rep. LoBiondo represents only a single municipality in Camden County, he is as strong a proponent for South Jersey residents as anyone in Washington.”

Chairman DeMichele offered the following statement:

“Very few members of Congress can claim to be as influential and valuable to their respective districts than Frank LoBiondo.

“As the nation weathers one of the worst economic climates in recent history, Congressman LoBiondo has stood up and fought tirelessly for South Jersey workers and businesses, including the beach, tourism, and casino industries, as well as the region’s invaluable agricultural, fishing and manufacturing sectors.

“While the current administration downplays the threats our nation continues to face, Congressman LoBiondo has built a reputation as a champion for homeland security and as a staunch advocate for our serviceman and women, as evidenced by his work on the Armed Services Committee and as Ranking Member on the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure’s Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation.

“There is no better friend in Washington to the residents of South Jersey than Frank LoBiondo, and there is no one better suited to serve the diverse needs of such a geographically vast District.”
